SACCO reports and financial statements

Portfolio quality, balances, collections, the books.

Steps

  1. SACCO โ†’ Reports: the loan portfolio and PAR (portfolio at risk 1, 30, 90 days; arrears ageing; by product), member balances, collections day by day and by channel, ledger vs books, and the key ratios (capital, liquidity, loans to deposits).
  2. The member statement: from a member's page - print or save as PDF.
  3. The statement of financial position and profit or loss are in Accounting - with members' deposits, share capital, loans to members and interest income in their places.

Good to know

  • โ€œLedger vs booksโ€ should show โœ“ everywhere - a difference means a manual journal or something to investigate. Which ratios and minimums apply depends on your category (e.g. SASRA for deposit-taking SACCOs).
