Statutory rates

PAYE bands, reliefs and deductions per country and year - a setting, not a code change.

Steps

  1. Go to Payroll → Setup and open the country's rates.
  2. Edit the PAYE bands (from, to, rate) and the deductions (NSSF tiers, SHIF, levy).
  3. For a new year, add a new set - approved runs keep the rates they used.

Good to know

  • Kenya 2026 is set up for you; add Tanzania, Uganda or Rwanda before running a pay group there.
