The home page
Choose a period and, if you have several, a branch. Tiles show revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, net profit, receivables, payables, cash and bank, and inventory value, each with its change on the comparison period. Below are the 12-month trend, sales by branch, top customers and receivables ageing. Clicking a tile opens the report behind it.
How an analysis works
- Period: today, this month, year to date and so on, a single date, or a date range.
- Show by: group the same report by customer, product, branch, salesperson, month, supplier or account, depending on the report.
- Filters: narrow to one customer, status or route.
- Compare with: the previous period or the same period last year, with the variance and % change on each row.
- Drill down: click a row for the next level and on to the documents.
- Export: CSV for Excel or Google Sheets.

Building your own
The report builder lets you choose a source, such as customers, sales or purchase documents and lines, receipts, supplier payments, stock movements or ledger lines. You then pick the columns, filters, grouping and totals, save the report and run it again. Reports can be shared. Downloads are in Excel or CSV. It needs no code, and it respects each person's access.
The daily business report
Each morning, chosen recipients can get yesterday's sales with month and year to date, cash, stock alerts and exceptions, by WhatsApp, email or both. You pick the time, branches and sections. A manager with no login can receive it. Your plan includes two recipients, and more can be requested at a charge.
It covers posted business only, and failed sends are retried. WhatsApp needs your own WhatsApp Business connection with the template approved by Meta. Customer names in the overdue list are hidden unless you switch them on.
Who sees what
Reports follow access. Margins need View margins, cost prices need View cost, and net profit and ledger reports need View financials. Someone limited to some branches sees only those, and a salesperson can be limited to their own or their team's sales.
Plainly: there is no AI
We do not claim AI features because Navigate has none today. The Help Center's Ask box finds passages in the official help articles. It does not use a language model. The indicative sentiment on customer feedback counts positive and negative words from a fixed list.
An AI assistant is mentioned in the code only as a future idea, with no date. Treat it as not available.
Where Navigate may not fit
- No AI features, forecasting or predictive analytics.
- Scheduled delivery is limited to the daily business report.
- The cash-flow forecast and the supplier performance report are listed as planned, not available.
- Holding companies have no consolidated reports across companies.
- Reports need a connection. They are not kept on the phone.
- The REST API covers customers, products, sales documents and payments. It is not a reporting or BI connector.
- Reports for modules not on your plan show as Module off.
Frequently asked questions
Does Navigate have AI analytics or forecasting?
No. There is no AI, machine learning or forecasting. The reports show what happened, with comparisons and drill-down. A cash-flow forecast report is listed as planned.
Can I get reports emailed on a schedule?
The daily business report is the scheduled one. Other reports are opened, or exported, when you need them.
Why does a sales report differ from the income statement?
Sales reports count issued invoices less credit notes, before VAT, on the document date. The income statement counts what is posted to the ledger, including journals. Use the financial statements for official figures.
Can I export to Excel?
Yes. Reports export as CSV, the report builder gives Excel or CSV, and financial statements export to Excel or PDF. Cells that look like formulas are exported as text.
