Access management: profiles, audit, sign-ins

Start roles from ready-made profiles, see every personal exception, and review access changes, sign-ins and sessions.

Steps

  1. Go to Users > Access management.
  2. Profiles: pick one (Sales Officer, Accountant, Auditor, Read Onlyโ€ฆ), name the role and Create - then adjust it in the access matrix and give it to people under Users.
  3. User overrides lists every extra role, override and personal data access.
  4. Access audit is the permission change history - filter, search, download as CSV.
  5. Login history shows sign-ins, sign-outs and failed attempts; Sessions shows who is signed in, with Sign out everywhere.
  6. Permission catalogue lists every area, document, action and control the matrix knows.

Good to know

  • Copy, Close and Reject are their own actions; until set they follow Create, Edit and Approve.
  • Reports and the dashboard follow a person's branch limit (no "All branches" for them).
