NavigateERP for African business

How do Navigate pricing and onboarding work?

Navigate is priced per organisation per month, on a ladder of plans that follows how complex your business is, not how many people log in. You register yourself in about ten minutes, the workspace opens with no approval, and you use it free for a set period before the first invoice. Prices may change, so check the current figures at /#pricing.

The plans

These are the published starting prices, per organisation per month. Prices are set in Kenya shillings and the website also shows them in your country's currency at the day's rate. They may change: /#pricing always shows the current figures and what each plan includes in users, branches and stores.

What changes the bill

  • More capacity. Extra users (in bundles), branches or stores carry a monthly fee, so one more branch does not force a whole upgrade.
  • Paying ahead. Quarterly and yearly billing can carry a discount. The default is 5% and 10%, and the pricing page shows what applies today.
  • Daily report recipients. Two are included. More can be requested and are charged on your subscription invoice.
  • Quoted separately. Data migration, custom development, extensive training and bespoke integrations.
  • Not included. Payment-processing, SMS and messaging charges from third parties.

How you pay

M-Pesa is offered to businesses in Kenya and collects in Kenya shillings. Cards are charged in US dollars, converted at the day's rate when the checkout opens. The pricing page says which currency applies to you. Your plan, invoices, payment history and Paid until date are all under Settings, Subscription.

From registration to going live

  • Register, in five steps: about the business; money and tax; branches; your account; choose a plan. Have your legal name, tax number and financial year start ready. Every answer can be changed later.
  • Confirm your email if asked, then sign in. The workspace opens with no approval step.
  • Use the free period. It is 30 days by default. If you need longer, ask for an extension in Settings, Subscription. The Navigate team approves extensions.
  • Follow the go-live checklist. It lists company profile, branches, team, payment connections, products, customers and your industry steps, and shows your progress.
  • Bring your data across. Use the opening balances tool for a full migration (trial balance, customers, suppliers, stock, bank and assets, reconciled before posting), or the simpler opening stock import for a shop.
  • Learn as you go. The Help Center inside Navigate can be searched, browsed or asked in your own words. Navigate eLearning adds courses with a test and a certificate.

Three ways to look before you register

  • Demo: opens a sample business straight away with no registration. Everything can be read, but nothing is saved, and printing, exports and account pages are closed.
  • Book a walkthrough, at /book-a-walkthrough: pick a day and time and one of the team takes you through Navigate live. By default a session lasts 45 minutes on a weekday, online with a video link, up to three weeks ahead. You get the confirmation by email.
  • Talk to sales, at /talk-to-sales: say what you need and the team calls you back.

Resellers

Some businesses come through a reseller, who helps them get started. You enter the reseller's Coupon ID and Reseller ID at registration, or open the link they sent. Any discount on the code comes off your subscription invoices. You can register without one.

To become a reseller, apply at /resellers/apply. Approved resellers get a Reseller ID, coupons and a dashboard of their customers, and earn commission on the subscription payments those customers make, at a rate tied to their badge. The Navigate team approves and pays commission.

Where Navigate may not fit

  • Prices are published starting values and may change. Rely on /#pricing, not this page.
  • The Operations price is a starting figure and depends on scope. Enterprise is by quotation.
  • M-Pesa payment of the subscription is for businesses in Kenya only.
  • Free onboarding is self-service. Hands-on migration, custom work and extensive training cost extra.
  • The demo does not save anything, and it does not let you print or export.
  • Resellers see commission line by line in their portal. There is no downloadable commission statement.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay straight away?

No. You use Navigate free for the free period first, 30 days by default. Your plan's invoice then comes by email.

Am I charged per user?

No. Each plan includes a number of users, branches and stores. Going beyond them adds a monthly fee for the extra capacity.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. You can move up without migrating anything, because your data stays in the same workspace.

Will someone set it up for me?

The standard route is self-service, with the checklist and Help Center. A reseller can help, and data migration or extensive training is quoted separately.

What happens if the first invoice is not paid?

Access runs until the later of your free period and your paid period, so the business needs to pay or be granted an extension to keep working. The Subscription page shows your Access until date.
